Ferry services link Scandinavia with Estonia. Boats arrive at Reisisadam, or in the case of the smaller hydrofoils, at Linnahall Speedboat Harbor. The hydrofoils make the crossing to Helsinki in about 1.5 hours, but only in the fair-weather months. Year-round passenger ferries ferry between Helsinki and Tallinn in about 4 hours. Taxis will sprint you into downtown for about EEK25, or you can walk to the Old Town in about 10 minutes. Buses also service the ports. International cruise ships also serve Tallinn port. Some travelers prefer flying into Stockholm or Helsinki for a more budget-friendly price, and then catching a ferry to Estonia.
